HOW TO WASH SPINACH
 | Place a large bunch of fresh spinach in a large bowl of warm water (not
hotter than 110 F), leaving the stems tied together. Shake gently to
loosen the dirt, be sure to open the bunch slightly. Drain while you
clean the bowl & add cold water, then wash again. Wash in cold
water twice, draining in between. When done shake gently to remove as
much water as you can, refrigerate but do not put in a bag. You leave
the ends tied so that trimming is made easy. |
