SLAW FOR 6
CABBAGE
 | 1 head green cabbage or 3/4 head green plus 1/4
head red cabbage, finely shredded |
DRESSING
 | Make your own using 2 Tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 tsp
pepper, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp sugar, 2 tsp vinegar, 3/4 cup whip cream &
1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce. |
 | Or you can try the following dressings, changing
the ingredients to your own taste: |

 | 1/2 cup toasted almonds, chopped |
 | Chopped anchovies to taste |
 | 1 cup apple, peeled & finely chopped (washed
with lemon juice) |
 | 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into thin strips |
 | 1 carrot, grated |
 | 1/2 tsp celery seed |
 | Chopped chives to taste |
 | Caraway seeds |
 | Dill weed to taste |
 | 1/2 onion, finely chopped |
 | Chopped fresh parsley to taste |
 | 4 finely chopped scallions |
 | 1 cup seedless green grapes, cut in half |
DIRECTIONS: Combine slaw ingredients.
Prepare dressing. Add dressing to slaw & mix to coat. Chill.
