TACO BURGERS

INGREDIENTS:

bullet1 to 1 1/2 LB BASIC HAMBURGER
bullet1 egg, beaten well
bullet1/2 cup corn chips, crushed
bullet1/4 cup water
bullet1/2 package taco seasoning mix
bullet4 hamburger buns or Kiser Rolls, split
bullet1 large ripe tomato, sliced thick
bullet1 cup shredded lettuce
bullet1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
bulletSalsa of choice (see SALSA)

DIRECTIONS:  In a mixing bowl combine egg, corn chips, water & seasoning mix.  Mix then add the hamburger & mix well.  Shape into 4 burger patties.  Cook over medium coals (or broil) 5-6 minutes; turn & cook 4-5 minutes or until done.  Serve on toasted buns topped with tomato slices, lettuce, cheese & salsa.
