SCENTED CORN

INGREDIENTS:

bullet6 ears of corn on the cob, husk on, silk removed
bulletButter
bulletSalt & pepper to taste
bulletFresh marjoram sprigs (about 24)

DIRECTIONS:  See COOKING CORN ON THE COB.  Butter each ear of corn & press the marjoram sprigs onto the butter.  Fold back the husk & tie to close.  Cook on medium-high coals for 10-15 minutes turning often, or until husks are blackened & corn is cooked but still crisp.  Remove the husk & add salt & pepper to taste.

SERVINGS:  6

SERVING TIPS:  Corn can be baked following the above procedures, baking at 375 F for 20-30 minutes.
