SALISBURY STEAK INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Combine beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, egg mixing well. Shape beef into 4 patties about 2/3 inch thick. Cook in a heavy deep skillet over medium heat turning occasionally, about 10 minutes. Drain then add the onion, broth & mushrooms. Heat to a boiling then reduce to a simmer & cook about 10 minutes. Remove patties & keep warm. Bring mixture to a boil. Mix water & cornstarch & whisk into the mixture. Boil1 minute to thicken. Serve sauce over the patties.
