PUMPKIN PIE

INGREDIENTS:

bullet3 eggs, slightly beaten
bullet1 can (15 oz) pumpkin
bullet3/4 cup sugar
bullet1/2 cup dark corn syrup
bullet1 tsp vanilla
bullet3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
bullet1 uncooked 9-inch pie crust
bullet1 cup chopped pecans
bulletWhipped cream, optional

DIRECTIONS:  In a medium mixing bowl combine the eggs, pumpkin, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla & cinnamon.  Mix well.  Pour into the pie crust & sprinkle the top with pecans.  Bake at 350 F (176.67 C) for 50-55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.  Cool then refrigerate.  Serve with whipped cream if desired.
