POTATO DOGS

INGREDIENTS: 

bullet10 hot dogs
bullet10 hot dog buns
bullet1 Tbsp flour
bullet1 egg, beaten
bullet2 cups mashed potatoes, cold
bullet1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
bullet1/4 cup onion, minced
bullet2-3 Tbsp cilantro, chopped (or to taste)

DIRECTIONS:  Preheat oven to 450 F (232.22 C).  Blend flour, egg, mashed potatoes, onion & cilantro mixing well.  Split the dogs lengthwise (about 3/4 ways through) to form a pocket & place dogs on a baking dish.  Cook about 10 minutes or until potato starts to brown.  Meanwhile toast the buns.  Serve dogs on the buns with choice of mustard or Ketchup.

SERVES:  5                                       TIME: 20 minutes
