INGREDIENTS:
 | 2 Tbsp butter or margarine |
 | 1 1/2 cups chopped onions |
 | 1 cup chopped bell pepper |
 | 1/2 cup chopped celery with leaves |
 | 2 garlic cloves, minced |
 | 12 cups (about 1 LB) French bread, cubed |
 | 2 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix |
 | 1/2 cup water |
 | 2 Tsp chopped fresh parsley |
 | 1 tsp dried thyme |
 | 1 tsp dried oregano |
 | 4 (10 oz) jars oysters, with liquid |
 | 1 cup chopped green onions |
 | 1/2 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese |
DIRECTIONS: Preheat
oven to 350 F. Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add 1
1/2 cups onion, bell pepper, celery & garlic. Sauté 5 minutes or
until tender. Add bread & next 6 ingredients cooking 7 minutes,
stirring constantly. Remove from heat & stir in green onions &
cheese. Spoon into a 9 x 13 baking dish coated with pan spray & bake
at 350 F for 30 minutes.
