MAYONNAISE CAKE

INGREDIENTS:

bullet1 cup sugar
bullet1 cup water
bullet1 cup mayonnaise (real stuff)
bullet1 tsp vanilla
bullet2 1/4 cup sifted flour
bullet1 1/2 tsp baking soda
bullet1/4 cup unsweetened coco
bullet1/8 tsp salt
bullet1/4 tsp red food coloring

DIRECTIONS:  Using a large bowl mix sugar, water, mayo & vanilla then gently fold in remaining ingredients except the food coloring.  Mix well then add the food coloring.  Pour into two 8" cake pans that are well greased.  Bake at 375 F (190.56 C) for 20-25 minutes or until done (toothpick comes out clean). Cool on wire racks & frost with fudge frosting.

SERVES:  8                                    TIME:  35-40 minutes
