MAPLE CARROTS
INGREDIENTS:
 | 2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine |
 | 10 butter-flavored crackers, crushed |
 | 2 Tbsp chopped pecans, toasted |
 | 1/4 tsp salt |
 | 1/8 tsp mace |
 | 1 Pkg (10 oz) frozen baby whole carrots, cooked |
 | 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey |
DIRECTIONS: In a
small bowl combine butter, crackers, nuts, salt & mace. Set
aside. Using a small sauce pan add carrots & maple syrup then heat 1
to 2 minutes, stirring gently to coat the carrots, when warm place on serving
dish(s) & sprinkle cracker mixture over the carrots.
SERVINGS: 4-6
