MAPLE CARROTS

INGREDIENTS:

bullet2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
bullet10 butter-flavored crackers, crushed
bullet2 Tbsp chopped pecans, toasted
bullet1/4 tsp salt
bullet1/8 tsp mace
bullet1 Pkg (10 oz) frozen baby whole carrots, cooked
bullet1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

DIRECTIONS:  In a small bowl combine butter, crackers, nuts, salt & mace.  Set aside.  Using a small sauce pan add carrots & maple syrup then heat 1 to 2 minutes, stirring gently to coat the carrots, when warm place on serving dish(s) & sprinkle cracker mixture over the carrots.

SERVINGS:  4-6                                   TIME:  20 minutes
