LIVER & ONIONS INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Dredge liver in salt, pepper & flour then cook in 2 Tbsp butter just until it losses its pink color DO NOT OVER COOK. Melt 1/4 cup butter in the skillet, add onion & sauté until lightly browed then sprinkle with 2 Tbsp flour, stirring to coat well. Cook 1 minute. Add beef broth & cook stirring constantly until thickened. Add liver & simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat & put liver on a serving plate. Add sour cream to the skillet, mix well simmering a short time (less than a minute). Mix well & top over the liver. SERVINGS: 4 TIME: 30 minutes SERVING TIPS: Great with pasta. LIVER & ONIONS |
