IRISH STEAK INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Salt & pepper both sides of the steak. Cook the streak in a iron skillet with butter until done to taste, do not overcook. Add the whiskey & set on fire. When the flame is gone place steak on a warm dish. Add cream to the pan, scrape off the drippings & cook until reduced slightly. Pour sauce over steak & serve. SERVINGS: 1 TIME: Who cares SERVING TIPS: Use a good quality steak of your choice but insure it has a good marbling & you trim off the fat to 1/8 inch. When cooking your steak use NO FORK, let the meat cook until you can easily slide it then turn it over & cook until you can easily slide it again. Steak should be rare to medium rare & allowed to sit a few minutes (while you make the sauce) & the juices settle. IRISH STEAK |
