HOGIE SANDWICH

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:  Knife to cut bread, knife to spread condiments, bowl & spoon to combine onion-cheese mixture, napkins, serving platter 

INGREDIENTS:

bullet1 loaf French bread, sliced lengthwise
bullet1 large onion, thinly sliced
bulletShredded cheddar, Swiss or Monterey Jack cheese
bulletSliced stuffed green olives to taste
bullet8 slices ham (leftovers or lunch meat)
bullet8 slices turkey (leftovers or lunch meat)
bulletThick slices of ripe tomatoes, optional
bulletRomaine lettuce
bulletMayonnaise
bulletMustard
bulletBACON VINAIGRETTE, to taste 

DIRECTIONS:  Combine onion, cheese & olives with vinaigrette, mixing well to coat. Spread half of the bread with mayonnaise & the other half with mustard.  Layer 1 slice of bread with ham, cheese-onion mixture, turkey, tomato & then lettuce.  Top with other half of bread.  Slice to desired sandwich sizes; wrap the bottom half of each slice with a napkin & serve sandwiches on a platter if desired.
