TOOLS YOU WILL NEED: Oven, 1 or more large baking sheets, large zip lock storage bag, measuring spoons, spatula, knife, brush (to scrub potato) INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 400 F. Wash & dry the potatoes; cut in half then slice each piece into half moons. Put all the potato wedges into a large zip lock storage bag. Add the oil & herbs, then seal the bag. Gently shake the bag until potatoes are evenly coated with oil & herbs. Pour the potato wedges onto a baking sheet (or two if needed) & arrange into a single layer. Bake for 45 minutes, or until edges begin to brown & crisp. Sprinkle with salt & pepper & serve. SERVINGS: 4 TIME: 1 hour SERVING TIPS: Herbs should be about 3 1/2 to 4 Tbsp total. Use a combination of your choice such as: 1 tsp garlic powder; 1 Tbsp basil; 1/2 tsp paprika; 1/4 tsp ground cumin; 1 tsp oregano; 1/2 tsp hot pepper flakes and prepared meat herb rubs (see MARINADES RUBS & GLAZE).
