FRIED OKRA INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Wash & cut okra into 1/2 inch pieces. Place in boiling salted water, cover & cook about 10 minutes or until tender. Remove & drain well. Place cornmeal, onion salt, & pepper in a plastic bag & shake okra in the mixture until well coated. Heat oil in a large skillet & cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove & drain on paper towels. SERVINGS: 4 TIME: 20 minutes FRIED OKRA
