FLANK STEAK

INGREDIENTS:

bullet1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
bullet1/4 tsp pepper
bullet1 cup soy sauce
bullet2 Tbsp sesame oil
bullet1 Tbsp ground ginger
bullet2 cloves garlic, minced
bullet2 flank steaks, 1 LB each, fat trimmed
bullet1 Tbsp butter
bullet1 LB sliced fresh mushrooms

DIRECTIONS:  Combine first six ingredients in a large dish & mix well.  Add steaks & coat well.  Cover & refrigerate 3-6 hours turning a couple times.  Remove steaks from marinade & grill 6-10 minutes each side (or less) .  Meanwhile melt butter in a large skillet, add mushrooms & sauté until liquid is gone.  Cut steaks into strips lengthwise & serve topped with mushrooms.
