CRANBERRY PUDDING

INGREDIENTS:

bullet2 eggs, beaten
bullet2 tsp baking soda
bullet2 Tbsp sugar
bullet1/3 cup boiling water
bulletPinch of salt
bullet1 1/2 cups sifted flour
bullet1/2 cup molasses
bullet1 1/2 cups cranberries, cut in half

SAUCE

bullet2 sticks butter or margarine
bullet1 cup half & half
bullet2 cups sugar

DIRECTIONS:  Combine eggs, sugar, salt & molasses.  In a separate container put 2 tsp of soda in 1/3 cup boiling water.  Add this to the egg mixture.  Stir in flour & cranberries.  Steam in a buttered rice steamer for 1 1/2 hours.  Meanwhile melt the butter, add sugar & half & half & stir until sugar is dissolved.  Serve pudding warm with the sauce.
