CHURROS INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: In a large bowl beat together the eggs, sugar, milk, butter & baking powder. Slowly add the flour, whisking until smooth. Heat 2-3 inches oil to 375 F (190.56 C) in a deep fryer or heavy kettle. Spoon batter into a pastry bag with no tip in place & squeeze batter into hot oil in about 5" lengths. Fry in batches until golden, 1-2 minutes, turning once. Remove to a paper towel & sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar to taste. SERVINGS: about 20 TIME: 20 minutes CHURROS |
