TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:
Can opener, large sauce pan, measuring cup & spoons, large wooden spoon
& serving spoon/ladle.
INGREDIENTS:
 | 1/2 LB ground beef, cooked & drained |
 | 1/2 LB sausage, cooked & drained |
 | 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans with liquid |
 | 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed &
drained |
 | 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced Mexican-style
tomatoes |
 | 1 can (8 oz) tomato juice |
 | 1 can (7 oz) Ortega diced green chilies,
drained |
 | 1 Pkg (1.25 oz) Ortega Taco Seasoning
Mix, regular or hot |
 | 1 small onion, chopped |
 | 2 cups frozen corn, thawed |
 | 1 tsp hot pepper sauce |
 | 2 cups water |
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan & bring to a boil. Reduce
heat to low & simmer for 20-25 minutes.
SERVINGS:

TIME: 40 minutes
SERVING TIPS:
Serve with tortilla chips. Top each bowl with your choice of diced green
