CHEESY-SPAM DIP

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:  Large skillet, spatula, mixing spoon, medium-sized bowl, measuring cup, 7 x 11-inch baking dish, small bowls to hold ingredients for use, paring knife.

INGREDIENTS:

bullet1 can (12 oz) Spam® (any variety) cut into small julienne strips
bullet2 Pkg (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
bullet1/3 cup milk
bullet1/4 cu finely chopped onion
bullet2 tsp prepared horseradish
bullet6-8 drops hot pepper sauce
bulletJalapeno or Anaheim Chili peppers, finely chopped, optional
bulletFinely chopped green onion, for garnish

DIRECTIONS:  Preheat oven to 375 F.  In a large skillet, sauté Spam® until lightly browned, set aside.  Meanwhile in a bowl combine cream cheese & milk mixing until smooth.  Stir in onion, horseradish, pepper sauce, peppers then half of the meat.  Spoon mixture into a 7 x 11-inch baking dish.  Sprinkle remaining meat over the mixture.  Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until hot & bubbly.  Remove & garnish with green onion.
