ASSEMBLE INGREDIENTS:
 | 2 cups shredded cabbage |
 | 1 cup chopped leeks |
 | 1/2 cup diced carrots |
 | 1/2 cup diced celery |
 | 2 tsp margarine |
 | 2 cloves garlic, crushed |
 | 4 cups water |
 | Salt & pepper to taste |
 | 2 vegetable bouillon cubes, crushed |
ASSEMBLE TOOLS:
 | Large stock or soup pot with lid |
 | Large long handle spoon for stirring |
PREPARATION: Put margarine in the pot, add the
carrots, celery, garlic, leeks & cabbage & sauté until vegetables are
tender. Add water & bouillon, bring to a boil then reduce heat &
partially cover. Simmer stirring often, until vegetables are soft &
soup is done, about 20-30 minutes. Salt & pepper to taste.
