BREAD PUDDING

INGREDIENTS:

bullet6-8 cups crumbled bread crumbs
bullet4 cups milk
bullet2 cups sugar
bullet8 Tbsp butter
bullet3 eggs
bullet2 Tbsp vanilla
bullet1 cup raisins
bullet1 cup chopped pecans
bullet1 Tbsp cinnamon
bullet1 Tbsp nutmeg

WHISKEY SAUCE

bullet1/4 LB butter
bullet1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
bullet1/2 cup bourbon
bullet1 egg yoke

DIRECTIONS:  Combine pudding ingredients mixing well.  Pour into a buttered 9 x 12 baking pan & into a 350 F (176.67 C) NOT preheated & bake 1 hour 15 minutes or until top is golden brown.  Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by creaming the butter & sugar over medium heat, until butter is absorbed.  Remove from heat & blend in the egg yoke then add the bourbon mixing well.  It will thicken as it cools.  Serve sauce over individual servings of the pudding.

SERVING:  6-8
