BEEF SALAD PITA

INGREDIENTS:

bullet1/2 cup finely chopped onion
bullet1/4 cup finely chopped celery
bullet1/2 cup sour cream
bullet1/4 cup mayonnaise
bullet2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
bullet1 Tbsp chopped parsley
bullet1 Tbsp prepared horseradish
bullet1 tsp mustard
bulletSalt & pepper to taste
bullet1 tsp oregano
bullet1 LB mushrooms, thinly sliced
bullet1 LB cooked roast beef, thinly sliced
bulletShredded lettuce to taste
bullet5 medium pita's

DIRECTIONS:  Combine first 10 ingredients mixing well, cover & chill.  Cut pita's in half & gently open pockets.  Place equal portions of beef & mushrooms in each pocket followed by the dressing & then the lettuce.

SERVINGS:  5                                    TIME:  20 minutes

SERVING TIPS:  If using for school or work lunch or picnic be sure to pack with frozen juice pack or other item to keep sandwich chilled.  See PACKING A LUNCH.
