TOOLS YOU WILL NEED: Large & small mixing bowls, kitchen knife, wooden spoon for stirring & pouring, measuring cup & spoons, griddle or large skillet with pan spray, spatula, tools to warm & hold syrup. INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: In a medium bowl combine banana slices & sugar, stir to coat slices well, set aside. In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon & salt, mix well. In medium bowl combine milk, egg & oil, blend well. Add to dry ingredients mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened, do not over mix. Heat lightly greased griddle over medium-high heat. For each pancake, pour scant1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Top with 4-5 banana slices. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles & edges look cooked. Serve with warm syrup & additional banana slices & nuts. SERVINGS: About 12 4-inch pancakes BANANA PANCAKES |
