BAKED OYSTERS

INGREDIENTS:

bullet2 quarts oysters, drained
bullet1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped
bullet1/2 cup green onions, with greens, chopped
bullet1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
bullet2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
bullet1/2 cup butter, melted
bullet2 cups cracker crumbs
bullet3/4 cup fresh cream
bulletSalt & pepper to taste
bulletPaprika to taste

DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375 F (190.56 C).  Into a ceramic baking dish make 2 layers of oysters, sprinkled with the lemon juice.  Top with parsley, onion, crackers, butter, salt & pepper, Worcestershire sauce & paprika on each layer.  Pour the cream over the top slowly & bake until oysters are hot & liquid is bubbly, about 30 minutes.  Remove & allow to set.
