BAKED OYSTERS
INGREDIENTS:
 | 2 quarts oysters, drained |
 | 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped |
 | 1/2 cup green onions, with greens, chopped |
 | 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce |
 | 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice |
 | 1/2 cup butter, melted |
 | 2 cups cracker crumbs |
 | 3/4 cup fresh cream |
 | Salt & pepper to taste |
 | Paprika to taste |
DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375 F (190.56
C). Into a ceramic baking dish make 2 layers of oysters, sprinkled with
the lemon juice. Top with parsley, onion, crackers, butter, salt &
pepper, Worcestershire sauce & paprika on each layer. Pour the cream
over the top slowly & bake until oysters are hot & liquid is bubbly,
about 30 minutes. Remove & allow to set.
