BAKED LONDON BROIL

INGREDIENTS:

bullet1 Reynolds®  Oven Bag, large size (14 x 20 inch)
bullet1 Tbsp flour
bullet1/2 cup water
bullet3 to 3 1/2 LB beef London Broil (top round steak) 1 1/2 inch thick
bullet1 tsp dried thyme
bullet1/2 tsp salt
bullet1/4 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS:  Preheat oven to 325 F.  Shake flour in the oven bag & place it in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.  Add water & squeeze the bag to blend in the flour.  Sprinkle & rub seasonings over the steak.  Place the steak in the bag & turn the bag to coat the steak with the sauce.  Arrange the steak in an even layer in the bag.  Close the bag with nylon tie, cut six 1/2 inch slits in the top.  Bake until steak is tender, 55 to 60 minutes.  To serve slice the steak diagonally against the grain, serve on a platter with juice spooned over the top.

SERVINGS:  8-10

SERVING TIPS:  Recipe is taken from Reynolds® .  To modify this recipe add your favorite vegetables such as mushrooms to the bag with the steak on top of them.
