BAKED EGGS & SWEET ONION INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS: Peel onions & put in a sauce pan, cover with water. Bring to a boil cooking for 5 minutes. Drain & coll. Cut onion into 1/2" slices & set aside. Toast the bread. Butter & cut in half at a diagonal. Place buttered side down in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Put onion slices over the toast & sprinkle with the cheese. Beat eggs, milk, salt & pepper then pour over the onions. Sprinkle the top with chopped cilantro. Dot with the 3 Tbsp butter & bake at 350 F (176.67 C) for 30 minutes or until firm. SERVES: 6-8 TIME: 45 minutes BAKED EGGS
