Baby Back Ribs
Ingredients:
2 racks baby back ribs, cut into sections of 3 or 4 ribs each
1- 2 L bottle of Dr. Pepper
1- 20 oz bottle of worcestershire sauce
salt and black pepper
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
1 Cup water
Directions:
Place ribs in a backing dish large enough to hold them comfortably. Pour in the bottle of worcestershire sauce and enough soda to cover the ribs. Add 1/4 cup of salt and soak for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Remove the ribs from the liquid and pat dry: discard the liquid. Sprinkle
the ribs with chili powder and return to the baking dish. Add the water and cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 2 hours, until the meat is tender and nearly falling off the bone.
Heat the grill until hot. Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and grill for 10 to 15 minutes, rib side down,
on a cooler part of the grill. Flip over and cook on the other side until lightly charred and smoky.
Remove from grill and serve. Place a dish of barbecue sauce on the table.
